What do i need to use one

So long as your vehicle can have roof bars fitted, you can install a Latitude roof tent and start your adventure. We know almost all cars, vans and trucks can do this, so whether you have a VW Beetle to a BMW, a modern Mercedes to a classic Mini, there’s a Latitude roof tent to fit.

The roof tent comes with all the required hardware to install on your roof bars. We can also supply and fit Thule roof bars, and then you’re ready to go.

There are also numerous accessories available, including ground floor extensions, padded bedsheets, thermal liners for winter camping, and a range of storage straps.

The Latitude Scout is a 2-person tent with a small footprint and sub-45 kg weight, making it ideal for small cars. The innovative auto-opening system means setup takes just seconds. Packing down is as simple and easy as setting up—just lift the ladder and the folding system will do the rest of the work. The robust telescopic ladder packs right down, and a travel cover keeps it all safe and watertight.

With a thoughtfully designed window layout, each side features a window with built-in mosquito netting, allowing fresh air and natural light to flow in. When the time comes to settle down for the night, simply zip up all the openings to block out the early morning light.

As well as being able to keep your bedding folded up inside the Latitude tent, a hanging shoe bag lets you keep your muddy shoes outside and off the ground. Its vented bottom panel means they can drip-dry overnight. There are also multiple interior pockets to store your smartphone, lights, and midnight snacks, as well as velcro access panels to the outside in case you need to run power cables from the car into the tent.

The Pioneer roof tent has been designed to fit almost any vehicle. So long as it can have roof bars installed and its load rating exceeds 55 kg, you’re all set. A simple pull on the ladder opens the clamshell folding system effortlessly, and the mattress inside opens at the same time. Packing down is just as easy—simply lift the ladder and the folding system will do the rest of the work. The robust telescopic ladder packs right down, and a travel cover keeps it all safe. Inside the Latitude Pioneer roof tent is a double mattress measuring 140 cm x 240 cm, made from 60 mm thick high-density foam.

The Pioneer roof tent also features a unique window layout, enabling you to gaze out at your surroundings whatever the weather, day or night. When it’s time to sleep, simply zip up all the entrances to block out the morning light for a restful night’s sleep.

The Latitude Pioneer XL roof tent is best suited to vans, 4x4s and larger cars due to its size. Your vehicle will need to have roof bars installed with a load rating exceeding 70 kg.

Inside the Pioneer XL roof tent is a double mattress (190cm x 240cm), made from 60mm thick high-density foam. This space comfortably sleeps 3–4 adults with room to spare, plus the ability to store your bedding and pillows inside when folded-up means more space in your car for everything else.

Built from aluminium, the sleek design is extremely robust and ready for whatever you throw at it. The gas struts make extremely light work of opening the roof tent. Simply undo the latches and push up – the rest is done for you in a matter of seconds. Packing it down is just as quick and easy, with an elastic cord helping to pull the tent material in as it folds.

The Explorer model comes in at only 20cm tall, excluding the roof bars. A small amount of bedding can still be stored inside the roof tent, such as a couple of sleeping bags or a lightweight quilt.

Roof bars mounted to the top of the Explorer roof tent come included and allow you to mount extra items on top, such as bikes, kayaks, roof boxes, solar panels and more. These are rated to hold 85kgs closed and 20kgs open.

Inside the tent is a built-in LED light with three dimmable settings which plugs into a battery pack. The extra-deep lower base houses the 70mm thick foam mattress and an anti-condensation mat, providing supreme comfort for two.
